ELDERLY COUPLE HURT

THROWN OUT OF GIG Press Association INVERCARGILL, Friday. A gig in which Mr. and Mrs. Middleton, of Otatara, were driving this afternoon, was turning a corner when it capsized, apparently as a result of one of the wheels mounting a traffic dome. The occupants were thrown out. Mrs. Middleton, who is 75 years of age, received an injury to one arm, a cut on her forehead, several bruises, and was severely shaken. She was taken to the Southland Hospital. Mr. Middleton was not injured sufficiently to need medical attention.
