POWERS IN AGREEMENT
GERMAN REPARATIONS RECONSTRUCTION IN FRANCE Times Cable. Reed. 9 a.m. LONDON, Thursday. “The Times” Paris correspondent states it is understood that the interAllied conversations show essential agreement between Britain, France, Italy and Belgium concerning German reparations. Mr. Forgeot, Minister of Works, has issued a report indicating that reconstruction of the devastated areas is practically complete. The industries are now more efficient than before the war. M. Forgeot estimates the total cost to date at roundly £1,000,000,000. The Budget estimates for 1929 contain a further £40,000,000.
