AT WASHDYKE
S.C.J.C. SPRING FIXTURE OPENING TO-MORROW The South Canterbury J.C. spring meeting opens at Washdyke tomorrow, and will be concluded on Saturday. Even fields have been paid up for, and there should be some interesting contests. The following horses promise to* be well supported in their engagements on the opening day to-monrow: Otaio Hurdles (starting 12.30). Troilus and Carinthia. Spring Stakes.—Waving Corn and Page Boy. Teschemaker Handicap.—First Sight and Battle Colours. Tycho Hack Handicap.—First Raid and Great Star.
