FLORISTS’ CLOSING HOURS
NOW DEFINITELY FIXED F*y a notice recently gazetted, closing hours for florists’ shops in the combined district of Auckland have, for the first time, been definitely fixed, and will come into force on November 26. The hours are a> follow:—-Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 6 p.m.; on Fridays, 9.30 p.m.; on Saturdays, 5 p.m. On any work:n& day immediately preceding a day generally observed as a whole holiday the closing hour shall be 9.30 p.m. This notice applies to all shops in " hich the principal business carried on is that of a florist, but it does not entitle the occupier of a shop, in which such goods as seeds, plants, manures •old gardening tools are stocked, to keep open later than, 6 p.m. on the first four days of the week, 9 p.m. on Fridays and 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
