LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY

EVENING OF ONE-ACT PLAYS Miss Ysolinde McVeagh will have an excellent part in “Maid of France,” the play by -Harold Brighouse, to be presented by the Auckland Little Theatre Society at the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, on November 28, 29 and 30, and on December 1. She is cast for the part of Jeanne D’Arc. In one part of the play she appears as the statue of Joan, comes to life and speaks. Into her mouth the author has put some wonderful lines, and indications are that Miss McVeagh will take advantage of this excellent opportunity of showing her undoubted ability. On the same evenings the society will present two other one-act plays, “The Boy Comes Home,” by A. A. Milne and “Danger,” by Richard Hughes.
