The chestnut, who was to go South this evening with Harry lvinnimont, has since been withdrawn from the Flutt Park card, and will return to Hawera under the care of Jim Bullock, and in company with Mokanna, who has caught a severe cold since coming North which resulted in his defection each day at Epsom. Jack Shaw also leaves this evening with The Abbey to fulfil his Wellington engagements. Jackie Audubon, who pulled up sore yesterday, will not make the trip.
