AN OFF MORNING

TRIALS AT ELLERSLIE GOLDEN WEDDING SHOWS UP Not a great number of horses were indulged in fast work this morning, trainers preferring to use the sand and tan. The course proper, 35 feet out, was available, while No. 2 grass was in use. Course Proper Golden Wedding, Double Event, and Tanerire were associated over a mile in 1.46 2-5, the first-mentioned finishing in advance of Double Mint. Thursby and War Officer were practically on terms at the end of five furlongs, in 1.10, both doing it nicely. Jolly Money pleased better than Sir Mond, and Te Money, at the conclusion of five furlongs, in I.S 2-5. Catoma shaped nicely over three furlongs in 42 4-5. Bizarro and Diamond Queen jumped away at the seven-furlong post, but were joined by Bonny Day over the last five furlongs. Bizarro accomplished his effort in grand style to record 1.33 3-5, the first three taking 39 1-5. No. 2 Grass Miss Myrtle strode over the last three of four furlongs in 40. Vallar moved easily throughout a five-furlong task in 1.10. Corinax moved slowly over the first furlong of seven, and at the half-mile was joined by Palmares, the pair finishing on terms. Corinax registered 1.32 l-5„ and could have done much better. Lineroo had an advantage over Areheno at the end of a round in 1.48 3-5.
