Competitions for the Kohn and*Miller Cups will be held at the Burn* Statue* in the Domain on Saturday, November 24. Teams must be on the ground at 1.45 p.m. * * * The first mate of the Fame Sea Scouts writes under date, November 18 “JL,ast Friday we paraded with 37 boys and instruction was given in tenderfoot and second-class- work, also special signalling instruction. Before the parade dismissed most of the boys were presented with their tenderfoot badges by the chairman of our committee, Mr. Olliver. “On Saturday we paraded at Walker’s Road Beach, where boating practice and scouting games were carried out. We also had practice in pitching camp.” * * * The party of Scouts chosen to assist at the Girl Guide Rally on Saturday will be in charge of Scoutmaster A. Tribble, of St. David’s Troop, and the Punua Scoutmaster, Mr. K. Dye.r. * * * In St. Peter’s Schoolroom, Great North Road, on Fi'iday, November 30, a celebration will take place to mark the sixth anniversary of the formation of the First Gordon Troop.
