“GRIP OF THE YUKON” AT ROYAL

A story of love and hatred in the goldfields of Alaska, “The Grip of the Yukon,” will be shown this evening at the Royal Theatre, Kingsland. June Marlow, Francis X. Bushman and Xeil Hamilton have the central roles. Two callous prospectors murder an old miner and later meet his daughter. She puts herself on "auction,” promising to marry the man who wins her in a poker game in which the stake is £I,OOO. She is to get the money from the winner in payment for herself. She is won by the two men who murdered her father. “The Wheel of Chance,” with Richard Barthelrtiess in a dual role, will again be the second feature.
