BISHOP GOES ABROAD

DR. CLEARY’S SEA TRIP ACTING ON MEDICAL ADVICE On account of his health, Bishop Cleary, of Auckland, will leave this afternoon on the Aorangi on a short A*ip abroad. Although able to attend to his episcopal duties, he is making a somewhat slow recovery from a motoring accident which occurred in July, and his doctor has prescribed a. sea voyage. Bishop Cleary will accompany Cardinal Cerretti to Honolulu, where they will tranship and proceed to San Francisco. They will part there, and Bishop Cleary proposes to leave shortly afterwards on the return to New Zealand. The affairs of the diocese will be administered by Bishop Liston during the absence of Bishop Cleary. „
