“HUNTINGTOWER”
“Huntingtower” will be the first attraction at the Prince Edward Theatre this evening.
One of the features of the Paramount release, “Huntingtower,” apart from the story, is the cast of international importance that has been assembled for the interpretation of the principal roles. The story, one of the flight from Russia of a princess, and of her rescue from Bolsheviks, makes ono of the most colourful stories that have ever reached the screen. Many of the “shots” of the picture were taken on the actual locale of the story, written by Major John Buchan, M.P. Firstly, of utmost importance, is the star. He is Sir Harry Lauder, world famous comedian of the stage. Then for the leading lady, for the part of the Russian princess, a player of that country was chosen, Vera Voronina. “The Play Girl,” a drama of the lovers of a little shop girl, with Madge Bellamy in the leading, role, is the second feature.
