RIFLE SHOOTING
AKARANA CLUB RESULTS Members of the Aka-rana Defence Rifle Club completed the final series for trophies presented by Messrs. V. Coombes, E. J. C. Reston and J. R. Draffin over the ranges of 800 and 900 yards at Penrose rifle range. Although conditions were not favourable for high scores some good shooting was recorded. As A. W. Powell and J. R. Draffin have an equal number of trophy points they will be required to shootoff to decide the winner of Mr. Coombes’s trophy.
