WAIKATO SHOW
MOST SUCCESSFUL FIXTURE QUALITY FAT LAMBS (Special to THE SUN) HAMILTON, Sunday. The 37th annual fixture of the Waikato A. and P. Association, which concluded on Saturday, proved one of the most successful in the history of the association. Entries and the attendance of visitors constituted a record. The hunters’ competitions proved one of the most interesting features of the show. Mr. Wynn Brown’s Cup for the champion hunter went to S. A. Wood’s Colleen Bawn. The association’s £6O prize in the Dominion jumping competition went to P. Clarkin’s Polite. The fat lamb section was considered by the judge and visiting stockmen to be one of the best ever shown in the Dominion, far excelling that at the recent Royal Show.
