AFTER THE CONCERT
LABOURER’S OUTBURST MAN WHO NEEDED CLEAN-UP A band concert held in Albert Park last evening evidently did not meet with the approval of Daniel Keane. After the entertainment was over he indulged in a burst of profanity which resulted in his 36th appearance at the Police Court this morning, this time on a charge of using obscene language. Keane,, a labourer, aged 48, pleaded, guilty and Chief-Detective Hammond observed that he had a long list and was badly in need of a clean-up. He had been sleeping out for some time. “We will have to put him out. of the way,” remarked Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M. Keane was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment. ABUSIVE ON TRAM Reginald Dixon, who became abusive when on a tram car, -was charged at tho Police Court this morning with using obscene language. Dixon, a labourer, aged 48, pleaded guilty and was fined £3. On the application of the Rev. Jasper Calder, who said that Dixon was paid monthly, he was given 14 days to find tha money. . _ ..
