FIRST FISHERMEN ARRIVE
MR. ZANE GREY’S PARTY WILL FISH FOR TROUT FIRST Press Association WELLINGTON, To-day. Among the first oversea visitors for the fishing season to arrive in the Dominion are Mr. Ptomer Grey and Mr. Robert Carney, advance guard of Mr. Zane Grey’s party, who came by the Maunganui this morning. Mr. Zane Grey will arrive by the next ship. His fishing at Papeete for four months has been without any outstanding features, and his success was not altogether what he anticipated. He is looking forward to some real deep-sea fishing in New* Zealand. On his arrival here Mr. Grey will go direct to Mercury Bay, Mr. Romer Grey and his companion going South for six weeks’ Atlantic salmon and brown trout fishing. They will fish at Lake Te Anau and tour the rivers, but do not expect to go farther north than the Fomakaka River.
