Mr. A. Hall Skelton left for Wellington by the .Limited last evening. Mr. 11. 11. Sterling, general manager of railways, arrived in Hamilton this morning from Wellington. The Hon. J. A. Young, Minister of Health, left for Wellington last evening on the Limited. Judge Jones, of the Native Land Court, arrived at Frankton Junction this morning by the Limited from Wellington. Captain 11. Hollis. New Zealand .superintendent of the Commonwealth ; nd Dominion Shipping Company, returned to Wellington last evening. Cardinal Ceretti and his suite are passengers for Auckland by the Aorangi, which sailed from Sydney yesterday afternoon. Mr. AN'. F. O’Donnell, the managing secretary of the Auckand .Lubilee Show, is visiting Hamilton on business connected with the forthcoming show in Auckland. The death of Air. Hugh I’. R. Caughey was mentioned with regret at the annual meeting of the Girl Guide Association last evening and those present stood in silence in memory of v friend of the movement. Mr. Norman H. Barlow, of Christeliurch, will sail from Auckland by the Niagara on Tuesday. He will represent the Canterbury Aero Club at an international conference on civil aviation to ho held at Washington, U.S.A-, di December It. Mr. T. F. Chapman, traffic inspector for the Railway Department at Christchurch, has received notice of his transfer on promotion to the position of assistant stationmaster at Palmerston North.
