TO CONTROL TRANSPORT
CITY MEMBERS OF THE BOARD SIX CHOSEN BY BALLOT The six members of the Transport Board selected by the City Council were appointed yesterday. Fourteen councillors and the Mayor were nominated, Crs. A.. J. Stall worthy and H. Fotter declining nomination. The first ballot resulted:
In the elimination.Cr, L. A. Eady was defeated. The names have been forwarded to the Minister, and the first meeting of the board is now in sight.
