NO MONEY TO -LEAVE N.Z. “NOT UNREASONABLE,” SAYS S.M. Fung Ping, a Chinese, aged 34, who had overstayed his temporary immigration permit by eight months, was fined .£2O at the Police Court this morning. Pleading guilty for Fong, Mr. J. F. W. Dickson urged that he had arranged to go on the Tofua, but had not been able to find the money to pay his fare. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., imposed the line, and made a deportation order. Mr. Dickson: Do you not think the line is unreasonable? Mr. Hunt: No, or I should not have it. •
