“DETECTIVES” NOW AT GRAND

The latest, and what is said by many to be the best comedy ever made by Karl Dane and George K. Arthur, “Detectives,” will be shown at the Grand Theatre this evening. The two heroes are working in an hotel, both rivals fo.r the hand of the pretty house stenographer, played by Marceline Day, when the mysterious Orloff, master crook, starts his depredations. They start in chase —a race with the girl as a prize and stolen jewels as the object, and from then on their hilarious adventures and comical mishaps keep the fun going. A full programme of supporting pic- j tures will be presented.
