LABOURER’S DEATH

FOUND IN BEDROOM A single man, aged about 55, Mr. James Ewin, was found lying dead in his bedroom early last evening. lie was employed as a gardener and farm labourer by Miss Kerr-Taylor on her farm in Mount Albert Road. He had gone into his bedroom after milking and, when he did not appear for dinner, a member of the household went to look for him. As far as is known his death was due to natural causes. It is believed that Mr. Ewin has relatives living in Ponsonby, but so far the police have been unable to trace them.
