CITY STREETS CLOSED

ELECTION PRECAUTIONS TO-NIGHT Several city streets will be closed to vehicular traffic this evening in view of the crowds that will throng the main thoroughfares seeking election results. The streets on which no traffic will be allowed between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. are: —* Queen Street from Wellesley Street to Customs Street. Wyndliam Street. Commerce Street. Portion of Fort Street. Albert Street from Victoria Street to Customs Street approximately. Owners are required to remove cars from these streets before 7 p.m. Tram cars will run along Anzac Avenue and Hobson Street instead of on their usual routes, and the service will be maintained until about midnight.
