EVERYBODY’S
“LAST COMMAND” TO-MORROW The two big pictures, “The Grip of the Yukon,” starring Francis X. Bushman, and the great story, “The Cossacks,” with John Gilbert and Renee Adoree, w ill be screened at Everybody’s Theatre for the last time this evening. The new programme to-morrow will be headed by the fine drama, “ The Last Command,’ 'in which the noted Continental actor, Emil Jannings, will appear. It is a remarkable story, depicting two entirely different worlds, first is that of an aristocratic officer in a high position in the Tsarist army, and later of the ranks of the poorer acto.rs in Hollywood. Scenes in Hollywood tell of the old general being given a role in a picture similar to the position he held in real life. “The Last Command” is an extraordinarily gripping drama, and Jannings proves himself a great actor. The second attraction to-morrow is an amusing comedy of a loving but neglected wife, who fought bravely to retain her husband’s vanishing love. This is “The Wise Wife,” with Phyllis Haver as the wife. Florence Vidor, the Paramount star, recently returned from a trip to the Continent, and is starting on her new production, “Divorce Bound.” She brought back with her a husband, whom she married while on her trip. He is Jascha Heifetz, the famous violinist.
