PLAZA AND TIVOLI
NEW PROGRAMME TO-MORROW This evening - will see the final presentation at the Plaza and Tivoli Theatres of “Vamping Venus,”' with Charlie Murray, and of “The Wheel of Chance,” starring Richard Barthelmess. Two exceptionally fine comedydramas will form the new programme to be shown at these theatres to-mor-row. The first of these is the latest Reginald Denny comedy, “Good Morning, Judge.” The story concerns a young society blade, Freddie Grey, who is arrested in a brawl following a prize fight. He spends the night in gaol, loses his wallet and has his fine paid next day by a beautiful heiress whose hobby is reforming criminals. He conceals his identity and goes in for being reformed at her mission for homeless down-and-outs. She is singularly attracted by him, but her interest is complicated by a series of events which might seem to indicate he is far from reforming. To complicate matters further, his sister shows up as a worker and threatens to expose him. How he evades exposure and captures a brace of real crooks who are robbing their benefactor, makes a picture filled with interest, romance and funny mix-ups. j, The second attraction to-morrow will be “The Butter and Egg Man,” a happy style of story with Jack Mulhall and Greta ISTissen in the leading roles. DIXIELAND CABARET Another pleasant evening is promised at the Dixieland Cabaret this evening when the usual mid-week carnival will be held. The election results will be broadcast during the evening and up to midnight. A non-stop dance will be held at Dixieland on Wednesday, November 21. when two bands will provide continuous music between 8.30 p.m. to 1 a.m.
