THE SUN’S BROADCAST COMPLETE PROGRESS REPORTS Complete arrangements for giving the people the election results have been made by THE SUN. Six loud speakers will be announcing to-morrow evening, and a specially erected hoarding will indicate the progress of the parties as the results come to hand. me display of the successful candidates has been arranged with attention to accommodating the crowd, and the hoarding has been erected on the Albert Street frontage of The Sun Office. Associated with this standing record ot the results, both the Albert StreH and Wyndham Street frontages of the office will have loud speakers, and a continuous report of the proceedings all over the Dominion will be broadcast. In order to ensure smooth working of this, organisation, every telephone in the office, as well as specially fitted wires, will be employed. It will be impossible, therefore, to give any results whatever over the telephone, and people are asked to refrain from ringing the office for this purpose. Progress reports will go over the air from The Sun’s special broadcast, and any unusual features of the polling in any part of New Zealand will be explained by the announcer. Successful candidates In the various electorates are invited to speak over the air on The Sun’s microphone. For this purpose special facilities will be provided. If the returned candidates avail themselves of this opportunity, the people will have an immediate verbal recognition of their choice from the elected members themselves.
