UPPOS’ DOOMED TO UNTIMELY END MR. LEE HAS HIS JOKE The “Shadow Cabinet” of the United Party came in for special mention from Mr. J. A. Lee. Labour candidate for Auckland East, in the course of his address at ■ Grafton Bridge last evening. Over 600 people were presei The “Shadow Cabinet” reminded him of the recipe for jugged hare, which concluded, “first catch the hare.” The Cabinet was shadowy enough; for it was composed of “has-beens” and of candidates who never would be.
