TUDOR, REMUERA

“ACROSS THE ATLANTIC” An air story staling Monte Blue and entitled “Across the Atlantic,” will head the new programme at the Tudor Theatre, Remuera, this evening. Blue plays the part of an aviator in this thrilling drama, and he has never equalled the verve and dash with which he interprets the part of the heroic ace, who regains his memory, captures a plane and flies to France, in time to prevent the marriage of his brother to his sweetheart, both believing that the unfortunate birdman is dead. There is strong drama, human interest plus comedy, and the glamorous atmosphere which men like Lindbergh have thrown around the men who follow the way of the eagle. “A Reno Divorce,” an ultra-modern comedy-drama, starring May McAvoy, will be the second feature. Madge Bellamy, star in the latest Fox production, “Mother Knows Best.” has been chosen as the American beauty by the Hollywood Association of Foreign Correspondents. This is but another instance of the international fame and appeal of this winsome, captivating star.
