PRAISE FOR TE AROHA SWIMMING BATH OPENED TE AROHA, To-day. The new tepid swimming pool at ! Te Aroha was opened yesterday afternoon by Mr. C. E. Macmillan, M.P., the Mayor, Mr. R. Coulter, presiding over a large attendance, which included Mr. B. N. Wilson, general manager of the Tourist Department, and Dr. J. C. Duncan, Government balneologist at Rotorua. Mr. Wilson said the opening of the baths was a great step forward, and he regretted that the Hon. W. Noaworthy was unable to be present. As a spa, Te Aroha was one of the most tmportant in New Zealand, said Dr. Duncan, and it had nothing to fear from comparison with any in the worid In fact its mineral waters were equal to. if not better than any in the world, even Vichy, That was a statement, lie added, backed up by the opinions of the best authorities.
