MAN INCAPABLE OF CRIME

JUROR SEEKS EXEMPTION Press Association NAPIER, Tuesday. “I have a firm belief that no man can be guilty of a crime,” said Neil Alexander Mclnnes when applying for exemption from service as a juror at the Supreme Court this morning. “Is it on religious grounds that you make this application?” asked Mr. Justice Ostler. “I am not overburdened with religion, but I cannot convict anyone,” replied Mclnnes. “My idea is that a man with views like yours Is not fit for citizenship at all,” remarked the judge in granting exemption.
