ULIMAROA AT SYDNEY.—The Hud-dart-Farker steamer Ulimoroa reached Sydney from Auckland at six o’clock yesterday morning. She is to leave Sydney on Friday and is due at Wellington next Tuesday.

MAUNGANUI LEAVES 'FRISCO.-The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the R.M.S. Maunganui left San Francisco at 2 p.m. last Wednesday for Wellington and Sydney, via -way ports. She is due at. Wellington on November 19 and at Sydney on November 24.

WAITEMATA AT NAPIER. —The Union Company’s trans-Pacinc ' steamer Waitemata arrived at Napier yesterday afternoon from, the Pacific ports with cargo for discharge at Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Nelson and New Plymouth. Cargo for Auckland will be transhipped at Napier. WIRRAL FROM MONTREAL Scheduled to reach Auckland next Saturday the steamer Wirral is running under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company's Eastern Canadian service. She is bringing general merchandise from Montreal and Sydney (Cape Breton) for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. THE CANADIAN TRAVELLER. —Following the Canadian Highlander, which is due at Auckland, from Montreal tomorrow, the Canadian Traveller is expected to arrive from Montreal on Saturday. Her general merchandise cargo is for discharge at Auckland and Wellington.

TRON GATE REPORTS.—Wireless advice received by Messrs. R. • Millar and Company from the Redgate Shipping Company’s steamer Trongate, states that she will reach Auckland from Texas at mid-day next Monday. The vessel has a full cargo of from Galveston for discharge at Auckland, Lyttelton and Kembla. She is a vessel of 3,978 tons gross, and was built at Newcastle-on-Tyne in 1924. Her former name was Snowdon.

HERTFORD TO LOAD. The Federal Line steamer Hertford is to leave Wellington for Lyttelton and New Plymouth to-morrow to complete unloading cargo from Liverpool. Afterwards the vessel will load in the South, and she is to return to Auckland on December 10 to fill up with New Zealand produce for London and West Coast ports of the United Kingdom. She is scheduled to sail from Auckland for London ori December 13. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents.

MATAKANA IN PORT. —With cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain, the S.S. and A. steamer Matakana arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon. The cargo was lqaded at Glasgow and Liverpool. She sailed from Liverpool on September 29 and arrived at and cleared Panama on October 15. Except for four days moderate westerly gales in the Atlantic the weather was generally fair during the voyage. Captain H. P. Thurston is in command and he has associated with him the following officers: Chief, Mo E. Davies; second, Mr. B. F. Moffatt; third, Mr. J. Dickson; wireless operator, Mr. T. Dissing; chief engineer, Mr. E. H. Read; second, Mr. J. H. Q. Chappell; third, Mr. M. Matheson; fourth, Mr. A. W. Fowlds; fifth, Mr. J. L. Barr; sixth, Mr. T. Matthews; seventh, Mr. A. G. Hutchens; chief refrigerating engineer, Mr. M. Vickers; second, Mr. W. C. Frodsham; chief steward, Mr. A. H. Mathewman. L. D. Nathan and Company are the local agents.

CANADIAN CONQUEROR SAILS.— For Montreal, via New York and Boston, the Canadian National steamer Canadian Conqueror is to be dispatched from Auckland this evening or to-morrow morning witli a cargo of New Zealand produce. She is at King’s Wharf. HANNINGTON COURT TO-NIGHT. —With a cargo of nitrate of soda from Chile, the steamer Hannington Court is expected to arrive at Auckland fhis evening. She will berth at Queen’s Wharf to discharge to the agency of Messrs. Robert Millar and Company. WAIPAHI AT SUVA.—Cable advice received by the local office of the Union Company stktes that the Island fruit steamer Waipahi arrived at Suva at 10.30 a.m. yesterday from Auckland, and sails again at noon to-morrow on her return trip to Auckland. She is due here next Tuesday. MAHENO AT WELLI NGTON.—The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the passenger steamer Maheno arrived at Wellington at 5 o'clock this morning from Sydney and berthed at 9 a.m. The vessel leaves Welllington at noo on Friday for Sydney and on return to Wellington on November 20 withdraws from the intercolonial service, her place being taken by the Tahiti, which will afterwards be relieved by the Maunganui. the Tahiti then taking up the running in the Sydney-San Francisco service. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE— The following vessels are expected to be within range of the undermentioned wireless stations to-night:— Auckland.—Tofua, Canadian Traveller, Canadian Highlander, Wirral, Harrington Court, Aorangi, Belmoira, Toongati. ARRIVALS TO-DAY HAUTURU (7.30 a.m.), 270 tons, Jack-son-Fowler, from Wanganui. NGAPUHI (8 a.m.), 703 tons, Bark, from New Plymouth. The Ngapuhi arrived at Onehunga this morning from New Plymouth. She sails again at 3.30 p.m. to-morrow for the same port. The Hauturu, which arrived at Onehunga this morning from Wanganui, sails again at 4 p.m. to-day for Raglan, Kawhia and Port Waikato. The Toa arrived at Onehunga last night from Hokianga. She sails tomorrow for the same port. The Kaitoa is due at Onehunga tomorrow to load for Nelson and Motueka. The Orepuki arrives at Onehunga on Saturday from the South to load for Nelson and West Coast ports.
