COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Wairaea left Auckland yesterday for Gisborne and Napier, and is expected back here on Sunday next. The Wingatui arrived here yesterday afternoon from Southern ports and berthed at the Prince’s Wharf. She leaves Auckland at noon on Friday on her return trip to Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. The Balls Head sailed from Greymouth at 6 o’clock this morning for Auckland, where she is due on Sunday next. The Kurow is sailing from Dunedin this afternoon via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland. She is due here toward the end of next week. The Waipiata is to load at Bluff this week, thence Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland. The Westport Coal Compayn’s collier Canopus left here last evening for Westport, where she loads again for Auckland. The Kazembe arrived at Dunedin this morning from Lyttelton, and leaves on Friday for Newcastle to complete her discharge of New York cargo. The Kasama leaves Wellington to-mor-row for Lyttelton and Dunedin to land the remainder of her New York cargo. The Hertford sails from Wellington this afternoon for Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and New Plymouth to complete discharge* of her Liverpool cargo. The King Edgar leaves Gisborne this afternoon for Napier to continue her discharge of asphalt. The Mataroa sails from Port Chalmers on Friday for Lyttelton and Timaru to put out the balance of her London cargo. The Gunbar sails from Auckland to-day on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The Torea sails at three o’clock this afternoon for Mangapai, Parua Bay, One Tree Point and Waipu. The Hauiti leaves Auckland at halfpast six this evening for Kopu and Turua. She returns at 4 p.m. to-morrow. The Kawau, returning from Waiheke at 6.15 this evening, sails again at halfpast eight to-morrow morning for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point and Little and Big Omaha. The Motu sails at four o'clock this afternoon for Whakatane. The Taniwha arrives at Auckland at ten o'clock this evening from Paeroa,
and sails again at 7 p.m. to-morrow for the same port. . , . The Claymore is due at Auckland at half-past three to-morrow morning from Whangarei. She leaves at 5 p.m. the same day on the return trip. The Apanui is expected to arrive at Auckland at four o'clock to-morrow morning from Mercury Bay. Tairua and Whangamata. She leaves at midnight the same night for the Great Barrier. The Pono leaves Auckland at eight o’clock to-morrow morning for Matakana and Mullet Point. She will not take passengers. The Kaimanawa is due at "Westport today to load for Auckland. She is expected to arrive here early next week.
