GRAVE CHARGES FAIL

Directed by Mr. Justice Smith, a jury returned a verdict of not guilty in the case of John Horace James Johnson, farmer, of Netherton (Mr. Sullivan), who faced four charges of incest in the Supreme Court yesterday. This was prisoner’s second trial.

Mr. V. N. Hubble conducted the case for the Crown. At the conclusion of the evidence for the prosecution, his Honour .said it would be unsafe to convict.
