FIRE DAMAGES HOTEL
OUTBREAK AT THAMES Press Association THAMES, To-day. Fire at 1 o’clock this morning considerably damaged the Queen’s Hotel, owned By Campbell Ehrenfried. Ltd., and occupied by Mr. Frank Clrubb. The alarm was given by a constable who saw smoke issuing from the rear of the building. The brigade was promptly on the scene, but the flames gained a good hold and caused considerable damage to the kitchen and three bedrooms. The insurances are £360 on the furniture, in the Liverpool , London and Globe Office, and the building £2,000, in the New Zealand Office.
