Margaret Welch, the chief witness against the *5 men who are charged with gang terrorism in Chicago, faces a tragic problem. Her brother was kidnapped by the gangsters who threaten to kill him if she continues her testimony. They added that they would “get her also.’’ Later to-day, she collapsed In Court crying, “I can’t go on. They will kill my brother.”
The Court adjourned to give the Police time to hunt down the kidnappers.
