OUR HARVESTS
Sir Joseph Ward’s speech at the Town Hall has been severely criticised in some quarters and has caused people to talk a lot, but what is more important, he has also set them thinking for the common good. Among the necessaries of life wheat is of vital impo-.V-nce. The people do not reap the benefit of our bountiful harvests. Why, then, is protection necessary? A legislature that will assist in building up the bodies of our young people is of far .more importance to the country than one subscribing to over-education. SETTLER.
