COASTAL MOVEMENTS—
The Westport Coal Company’s collier, Canopus, is due at Westport to-day from Lyttelton to load for Auckland. She is to clear the coal port to-morrow, ancl should arrive here early next week. The Kurow sailed from Auckland early this morning for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. The Waimea arrived at Gisborne this morning and sails this afternoon for Napier and Auckland. She is due here on Sunday. The Wingatui, from Dunedin and Timaru, leaves Lyttelton this afternoon via Wellington and Picton for Auckland, where she is due early next week. The Katoa left Westport at 11.30 a.m. yesterday for New Plymouth and Auckland, and is expected here about Sunday. . The Kamona cleared Greymouth at 0.30 a.m. yesterday via New Plymouth, for Auckland. She is due here on Sunday, and after discharge pays off here and undergoes her overhaul and survey at Auckland. The Kaimanawa is now leaving Auckland at 5 o’clock this afternoon for Portland, where she will load cement for Napier and Wellington. The Kaiwarra is fixed to load coal at Westport on Saturday for Auckland, and is due about the middle of next week. The Waipiata is leaving Bluff on Monday via Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland. The Gunbar arrived at Gisborne early this morning from Auckland and leaves this afternoon for Napier, East Coast bays and Auckland. She is due here early next week.
The Tiroa reached Gisborne this morning from Auckland and sails tonight on her return trip, being due here about Sunday. The Paroto is sailing from Auckland at 4 o’clock this afternoon for Kerepeehi. The Taniwha, which sails at midnight for Paeroa, returns to Auckland at 6 a.m. on Saturday. The Matangi leaves here at 6.30 p.m. to-day for Tauranga, and is due back at Auckland at 7.30 a.m. on Saturday. The Claymore, sailing at 7.30 o’clock to-night for Whangarei, returns to Auckland at 7.30 a.m. on Saturday. The Gael left Auckland shortly after 1 p.m. to-day for Kawau, Mullet Point and Matakana. • She is due back tomorrow at 2.30 p.m. The Waipu, due here shortly after 2 o’clock this afternoon from Thames, sails at 3 p.m. to-morrow on her return trip. The Hauiti is expected at Auckland about 3 p.m. to-day from Kopu and Turua, and sails to-morrow at 4 p.m. for Coromandel. The Apanui returns to Auckland at 6 o’clock to-night from the Great Barrier, and leaves on Monday at 6.30 p.m. for Mercury Bay, Tairua and Wliangamata. The Kawau is due at Auckland at 4.30 p.m. to-day from Big Omaha and way ports, and sails at 2 p.m. to-morrow for Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth. The Clansman is due here at 7.30 p.m. to-morrow from Russell, Opua, Wliangaroa and Mangonui, and sails next Monday at 4 p.m. on her return trip. The Motu sails from Auckland at noon on Saturday for Awanui and Waipapakauri.
