AMARIS FOR ADDINGTON
< AUGUST left for Christchurch * * on Tuesday night with Amaris and the Logan Pointer gelding will be a competitor in the saddle heats at Addington. Prior to leaving for the South, Amaris was given a spin over a short journey with the weight on top and pleased his connections to such an extent that they decided at the eleventh hour to make the trip. Amaris has a rare turn of speed and is partial to the dirt track at Addington, and he should prove a thorn in the side of the opposition.
