BEQUEST’S PROGENY

A FINE looking filly that is showing good promise is an unnamed pacer by Rey de Oro from that great brood mare Bequest, and geared up the other morning she gave a nice display of pacing. Another of the same breed is Rey de Quest, a gelding in Geo. Phipps’s stable, and while he is taking time to come to hand, should prove a good proposition later. One of the best produced by the old mare is a two-year-old by The Triumph, and he is a thorough gentleman and one that will make trotting history. His owner, Mrs. J. S. Johnson, has received several tempting offers for the youngster and he may shortly find a new owner. The latest Bequest edition is a handsome foal by the aristocratically-bred Metal, and on general appearances should turn out the right metal.
