THE POOL
Across the pool The swallows dart and skim And at the rim Tall rushes to their knees in the waters cool And bow with every breeze. Whispers each quivering blade. Of small nests hidden From eyes unbidden . "Within their scented shade. And little clouds that o’er the sky r*D races, • Cast on the shining pool their mirrorea faces.
