THAMES ROD AND GUN CLUB
ELECTION OF OFFICERS The financial position of the Thames Rod and Gun Club are particularly good a fact which was disclosed at the annual meeting held last week. The championship medal for the past season was presented to Mr. S. Sparke. Votes of condolence were passed to the relatives of the’late Mr. A. Brien a valued member of the club, and Mr. Andrew Dobson, president of the New Zealand Gun Club Association. Officers elected for the * year were: Patron, Mr. W. Bongard; president, Dr. J. B. Liggins; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. M. Samuel E. J. Renshaw, F. S. Miller, N. Jonaasen, C. Flett, J. J. Alwinger, H. Hoyle, M. Maher, J. Crosbie, C. Kelly, M. Dunbar, L. Gell, T. Lannj r , and Dr. Sowerby; committee, Messrs. F. S. Miller, C. Flett, Jonaasen, E. McDonald, L. Sinclair. W. Aitken. A. Smith, S. Sparke, W. R. Smith, A. McLean, and W. Sparke; auditors, Mr. N. Jonaasen and Dr. Sowerby. Mr. G. H. Shaw was re-elected secretary, members referring to the efficient manner in which he had carried out his ! duties.
