“LOVES OF CARMEN” AT EMPIRE

A most delightful farce, full of the charm of youth, will be shown at the Empire Theatre this evening. This is “The Four Flusher,” starring Marion Nixon and George Lewis. The picture exudes all the fun of youth and ambition. The story is a clever one and Universal could not have chosen a better supporting cast. Almost the entire roster for players was promoted from “The Collegians” to this very gay feature-length farce. Miss Nixon is beautiful and appealing, while Lewis is handsome and winning. Both are capable at acting. The supporting cast is talented, with Eddie Phillips playing the suave young villain and Churchill Ross playing a comedy role. “The Loves of Carmen,” with beautiful Dolores Del Rio as “Carmen,” will also be shown.
