SWIMMING AT PUKEKOHE

ANNUAL MEETING HELD (From Our Own Correspondent) PUKEKOHE, Tuesday. Tho Pukckohe Swimming Club Jield its first annual meeting* last evening. The president. All*. W. J. Alunro, presided. Air, Munro reported that the Club had been successfully established. Swimming had been fostered, and two carnivals and three other club nights had been held at the baths. These had been well attended, the baths being too small on the last occasion to hold all the people attending. This was evidence of increasing appreciation of the club's activities. The financial statement, presented by the secretary, Air. D. G. Law, showed a credit balance of £l3. The election of officers resulted: Patron, the Mayor: Air. John Routly; president. Mr. Munro: vice-presidents, Alessrs. G T. Parvin. J. T. Cowan, R. C. Clark, W. Wright, E. Ifforrison and T E. Kcven; club captain. Air. Wright: secretary. Mr. Law; treasurer, Mr. G. Cowan: executive members, Alessrs. R. Johnston, F. Treanor, Youlden, J. F. Beane and TJ. Hickling; auditor, Mr. M. S. Campbell. •
