AGAINST JOHNSON
WALSH GETS INJUNCTION (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY, Monday. The action in the Court of Equity brought by Mr. Tom Walsh for an injunction against Mr. Jacob Johnson to restrain him from interfering in the performance of his duties as secretary of the Seamen’s Union of Australia, resulted in an order to that effect being made to-day. Mr. Justice Long Innes said Walsh had been properly elected, and directed that he be given possession of the books and documents, and warned any members who attempted to thwart the order of the Court that they would be dealt with for contempt of Court. Johnson is at present undergoing imprisonment.
