BANKRUPT FAILS TO ARRIVE
NO SCHEDULE FOR ASSIGNEE (From Our Own Correspondent) HAAIILTON, To-day. The information that bankrupt’s car had broken down near Cambridge and that he would be delayed for some time was not received with equanimity by tho creditors in the bankrupt estate of A. Campbell, restaurant proprietor, when they met in the official assignee s office to-day. Their annoyance was not diminished by th© fact that no schedules or statement had been handed in by the bankrupt. The assignee said he would not accept th© responsibility of examining bankrupt without knowing all about the transactions. and would like a full statement and schedule before him first. H© agreed to adjourn the meeting until next Friday, and would remind bankrupt of the necessity for a statement.
