ANOTHER RINGER
SYDNEY cables to-day report another racing sensation. Five men, and a horse rung in at Mudgee races as Algoa, but believed to be identical with the four-year-old gelding Silent Gold (by William tHe Silent from Goldbead) were all disqualified. Silent Gold was owned by Mr. R. C. Allen, a member of the committee of the A.J.C., but was leased conditionally that the horse was run only at registered meetings. As a two-year-old Silent Gold raced in the name of T. Craigie.
