ON HEAVY GREENS
RAIN DELAYS BOWLING TOURNAMENTS MOST CLUBS PLAYING Despite the heavy rain that fell early this morning it was possible for must of the bowling clubs playing tournaments to-tlay to carry out their programmes. Owing to the heavy nature of tho greens, however, in most instances it was found impossible to start play at the time stated. At liemueru it was decided to abandon the tournament, but during the afternoon an ordinary draw was played.
