Wilson, University’s lefthander. did great execution. Tho best innings of the morning was Roskilly’s, who put up 31 before his wicket fell to Wilson. Lamb, batting m great style, hit a six and several i fours, getting -4 in quick time, before | lie was caught by Smith and Gee. ‘ The innings closed at mid-day for l 116. Tho University batsmen played very i cautiously on the tricky wicket. Three of them fell in quick succession, but by lunch time, at 12.45, Gee was just beginning to get set.
