, BRIDGE AFTERNOON A bridge afternoon in order to raise funds for the needlework stall in the coming bazaar of the Devonport Subbranch of the Navy League was given in the rooms, Devonport, on Thursday by the president, Mrs. R. L. Cleland, Mrs. T. Palmer and Mrs. Bullimore. During the afternoon both euchre and bridge were played, the highest scores being made by Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Waite. Among those present were: Airs. Clark, Airs. Waite, Airs. Hamlin, Airs. Damkier, Aliss G. Gribben and Miss Burgess.
