TAKAPUNA EVENING
A social evening was held by the Takapuna Ratepayers’ Association in the Gaiety Theatre on Thursday, the guest of honour being Mr. Alex. Harris, M.P.
The committee in charge of the arrangements was:—Mrs. J. E. Close, Mrs. T. Hanna, Mrs. Hunt, Mr. Hanna, Mr. Hunt, Mr. Warbrick, Mr. Dawson, and Mr. J. E. Close. An enjoyable programme had been arranged by Mr. Warbrick. The following contributed items: Miss W. Hill. Miss Conway, Mr. Tysoe. Mr. F. Sutherland. Mr. Swain. The accompanist was Mr. Webber.
