OLD SCREEN PLAYERS MEET
BIG CAST IN “ANNIE LAURIE”
Although Lillian Gish has been famous ever since her first triumph in “The Birth of a Nation,” and Hobart Bosworth, hero, of 700 screen roles, played in the first motion picture ever filmed in California, these two met for the first tim^during the making of the super-production, “Annie Laurie,” in which Miss Gish plays the title role. Mr. Bosworth plays Annie Laurie’s prospective father-in-law, in the new picture, and it was not until Director Robertson introduced them that they had ever met.
“Annie Laurie,” is a very stirring re-creation of the mighty Highland drama of old Scottish history, coupled with the sweetest love story ever brought to the screen. Huge old Scottish castles, thousands of “extras” in kilts and tartans, impressive mountain scenes, thundering battle actions anvi clan gatherings, romance and love, all are blended in a vivid kaleidoscope in this production.
