\ SQUARE-GAITER billed to appear at Whangarei on Monday last week became eligible for enroih-ient, having passed his 21st birthday. The veteran is Amberite, who still looks hale and hearty, and is showing sufficient form to encourage his ownertrainer Joe Gee in the belief that he will secure some of the Whangarei prize-money. The Castaway gelding has been a favourite with racegoers and a victory for him in his advanced years would be well received.
